I am going to get a drive shaft that was from a B Body cut to fit into my Demon, but I was curious when measuring how much room do you leave in the transmission yolk to allow for suspension travel with the rear end? I am running an 8 3/4, but it has an aftermarket 4 link suspension on it. Any help would be appreciated, I don't wanna screw this up haha!

all you need is the measurement from the tip of the shaft ot the center of the ujoint.

They take care of the rest.

Make sure the car is sitting with full weight on all 4 tires when you take the measurement!!

1.5 inches from bottomed on the output shaft of the trans is safe, and since you have a 4 link it'll be way safe because a 4 link allows less movement.
