I have the plug for the ign box and most of the old wiring harness. What wire needs 12volts to power the box? I plan on using an on/off switch and starter button that I already have.

See post 3, the second wiring diaghram with the 4 pin. The top wiring area where the splice/existing wire & new wire is the place you would run your on/off switch to. (12 volts).
Now for the starter button, you will want to turn on the starter with it, but somehow you also need to feed a full 12 volts to the + side of the coil while (cranking only) then let the existing wiring run the coil when not in the (cranking mode)

Thanks for the link. I've got a small block truck 4sp bellhousing and some old convertors I can use too. Trying to scrounge up some mufflers.
