I bought a pair of front drum brakes from a fellow member at Spring Fling almost 20 years ago. Can’t remember who. Anyway I gave them to a buddy for his 66 Dart project. Trying to figure out which backing plate wheel brake cylinder to get. The mounting space has a square hole. I guess when he got the new cylinders they wouldnt fit the square hole. Anyone enlighten me on the differences between the different wheel cylinders?

You really need to post a picture, there are more than a round and square version of a dart wheel cyl.
If you post a picture I'm pretty sure I'll know what you have.

No sooner than when I read your reply my buddy called me. They are 65-72 10” drums which the wheel cylinder has a square backing. Thanks for replying.
