I talked my friend , we are restoring his 69 Charger, into talking to Dan Dvorack, about rebuilding the 440. So, we have been to his shop twice. I have never seen a rebuilt engine spun over by hand, no wrench. I saw his head work, holy cow!. Talked for 1 1/2 hour first visit, 2 hours second. Gawd, the knowledge this man has about bb mopars. Dan is like Garlits-Garlits top fuel; Dan superstock. Google him for what records he made. And the man is a character, funny;

Dan is a BB Mopar expert and has set many records with BB/Max Wedge cars.

I bought a 68 Barracuda formula S from a guy in Tampa back in 90. The axle was an 8 3/4 3.91 suregrip built by Dan Dvorak with heavy duty parts. I have run the car hard, even done burnouts for the Woodward Dream Cruise spectators the first three years it was held and the police used to let you do burnouts, and the axle has never had a problem.

Dan does great work!
