Dany's A998 trans is done, converter is here and we are ready for the swap.
Does anyone know if a 904 can be removed with the Dougs D450 headers in place?
Or do we need to remove the passenger side, or both ?
Hoping someone here has done it before as we are staring removal tomorrow morning.

Thanks in advance guys!!

I pulled the 904 out of my 66 Barracuda without pulling the Doug's 450's. It was tight on the driver's side but I managed to twist it clockwise (from the back) enough to get it past the collector. Haven't reinstalled one yet so not sure how that's going to go!

That's what we were hoping.
We REALLY don't want to pull that drivers side!!!

Lol. I'm with you on that! Long skinny fingers would help, but I'm the opposite. I think I've put them in and out three times in three months, but hopefully they will be in for a long time now.

Taking the transmission out was tight but I never felt like I was going to damage the header.

As stated above, you can pull the transmission without removing the headers. I just did the same thing to install a higher stall converter. 65'
