Edelbrock electric choke

Was hooking up electric choke on carb , Negative wire is ground , Positive wire goes where,?, lost my manual for the carb , Positive side of coil ? , Thanks. Mike
 
Disconnect both leads from the ballast resistor.

Turn key to "on" position.

Get a test light and put the clip on a good ground, then poke the tip into the two leads from the ballast resistor. Use the one that the light works on. I like to use a piggyback connector and stack them at the ballast resistor. They are available on the electrical rack at NAPA. You can always remove it later if you want to put it back to "stock" ignition.
