EGT prob placement

Howdy
I'm looking at adding a single channel EGT monitor. Is there a known "lean" port in 915 J heads. That is the port the probe needs to go into.

I'm sure there is and i bet it changes with every manifold/carb set up.
My rational head says the two middle syl. I say this because those the get really technical on there eng (mostly oval track stuff) end up re roughing the cooling system so that they can cool the two middle syl better.

Just a guess.
Well it's alway #1 spark plug that i pull to check fuel ratio........So maybe i would install it there.........LOL
