I purchased a HVLP electric spray gun. I don't have a compressor, so I may try to use this to spray my car.
Plus my garage, "I am renting", will not handle the electric for a compressor.

The gun I bought is set up for spraying stains, lacquers...etc. Thin stuff.
I can't spray lacquer, since the car has enamel on it. It will crinkle I have heard??
Can I use a Rustoleum enamel cut 50/50 with mineral spirits?
I know the gun will spray it since it will be thinned.

Will the finish be okay? The gun I bought was here:

50/50 is a little much for Rustoleum, I believe they only recommend a 5% cut.
