Electronic choke on carb

If i were to switch my stock 2bbl intake manifold to a 4bbl on, and were to use a electronic choke carb, how would i wire that up? because i know the factory one have the choke that goes into the manifold. thanks adam

You just need 1 hot wire and 1 ground for the choke.

run the ign hot wire to the 12v side of ballast that comes from the ign switch.

thanks alot guys, i knew it'd be something simple. this is my first old school v8 car. my other toy is a 1992 Dodge Stealth, twin turbo'd all wheel drive. i'd like something faster though :book:

My Dart is a AC car.What I did was use the AC Clutch hot wire and the AC control button.That way if your choke shorts out,it is fused,the car still runs and the car will not burn down.

Some a-bodies have a hot wire for a choke. My '72 Duster had an exhaust heat/electric choke. I used this wire for the electric choke on my Q-jet when I did the V8 swap.
