I just found motors. one is a 318 engine code 2536030 318 71. I looked it up and is says its an Lmotor. Can I put this in my 66 Dart wih out useing different motor mount and manifolds? Also found a 440. I think the code is 353363830 440 6. Thats what I make of the rusy number. Is this a 6 pack motor? Any help?

The number after the CID is a casting mold revision number. In this case we will use the number you provided 353363830 440 6

The actual number on the block is likely 2536430 this is a 66-72 440 engine.
the 440 is the CID identifier.
the 6 is the block revision number. This is the number of times the block cast has had a change to its mold from the original mold casting. After a certain number of revisions a new casting is used. On small blocks I have seen them go to about 9. On big blocks I have seen them as high as 14.

Some say the lower the revision number the better. I am not sure there is any real truth to that?

So the 6 does NOT equal a 6-pack engine. On the top front ID plate on the RB engine. A 6-pack engine will have the HP2 stamping, but so will other High Performance engines. I have been told the 6-pack engine were made on the second shift hence the HP with a 2. My research seems to agree with this, but I can say it is an indisputable fact.
