Ok looking for some opinions here...
I've got a 71' swinger with a 225 in it which just happens to be my daily driver. It's got fairly decent repaint couple bad with spots here and there. Very amateur job but still not too bad. Does have rust under the hood. Mounting lips of the fenders and the inner fenders around the hood hinges. The car also has 72k original miles documented.
I've recovered both front and back seats, new dash pad, and the new carpet and head liner are still in a box.
Ok so here's the deal... as much as I want to keep this car I need a newer reliable ride for every day use. The only problem is selling this is the only way to get the money for something nice. So, to get top dollar out of this should I invest my money into paint and body work or drop a V8 in it. Like a 318 or 340? I have a professional paint lined up who can work me a hell of a deal and ill get to help.
So I guess what I'm asking is which is a better investment?
