Exhaust for fenderwell headers??

So i am putting my engine back together now, but i have ran into some problems. My first problem is, i made fenderwell headers because it was a pain trying to make some regular underchassis headers. My next problem is, i made an x-pipe to flowmasters system, but theres no way i can connect the exhaust to the headers.. So what i am wanting to know is, is anyone here using fenderwells, and do you have an exhaust sytem? Also how are you routing the exhaust if you do have exhaust pipes going to an x-pipe? Did i mess up, in making fenderwells, are they mostly for racing? The headers are done, but i havent cut the fenders, should i stop?? Anyone please help, so that i dont have to cut my fenders.. Thanks.
 
I am running Hooker Fenderwell headers and I made my own X pipe exhaust for it. It turned out very well and was actually pretty simple. I just bought a 3" universal X pipe kit from summit and 2 flowmaster mufflers.
 
I didnt think i would find some cheaper than those. Will those clear my power steering,and power brakes booster?? My main problem is fitting issues with the power steering box. What i meant to ask also was, after the collectors exit the fenders, how did you route the exhaust. Did you do right angle bend right there??? Thanks imma look into those headers for fitment..
 
Has anyone ever used headers from a different car truck or suv?? I see headers for cheap, for dakotas, and rams that are rear dump shorties. Has anyone ever tried to use those type of headers?
