My wife, for my birthday on sunday the 14th, just bought me my first Mopar, a 73 Dart Swinger, the same year I was born, with original 318, original interior, original vinyl top and I have to say that i am pleased as punch! Not simply because it is a gift from her, but the car is fantastic! Been a GM guy my whole life, had Nova's, Chevelle's, GTO's but I have to say I have fallen in love with this car!I will be honest, I would have never owned a Dart, let alone with a little 318, but with the Eddy intake and 4barrel, this little Dart rumbles and gets attention everywhere I go! Thanks to everyone for the welcome and compliments! Have a quick question, I have the 4brl, dual exhaust, I have great cruising power, just want a little more low end torque. My Dart takes a few to get to 20mph, but once she does, the needle will snap to 60 almost immediately and keep climbing, so I want to know, engine mod or or tranny and rear end rebuild or change to get just a little more low end. I don't want to launch, just a little more punch thats all.
 
Yea I figured some different gears, I do not want to swap the motor, it is numbers matching, this car is a great find, just needs a little work to be even better. Thanks for the input though everyone.
