FM3 is the code and 70 Dodge lists M3 as "Panther Pink". 71 was listed as Penta-Magenta.

Fm3 was Moulin Rouge on a plymouth in '70, I think.
Plymouth retained Moulin Rouge for both years then?

Believe it or not, you could get FM3 on a C-body in 70. (Pretty sure anyway, lol). I've seen one, whether it was original, I couldn't say.
I have no idea what Chrysler called that color. I'd be willing to bet it was special order only.

Fm3 and fj5 sublime / limelight green were both introduced in spring.

I also believe that Penta Magenta was the Chrysler name.

FM3 was a late 70 only color... What ever references you find to 71 are wrong....

Kinda odd considering my FJ5 Challenger was an early build...
Actually FJ6 Sassy Grass/Go Green was the color released at the same time as FM3...

FM3 on a C-Body was known as ''Rooster Dink Pink'' on some literature I saw many years ago.
You can see why in the "old" days we didn't use "names" we only used the code. FM3 was always FM3.
