Getting ready to sell several of the Engines my father had hidden away for a rainy day. Thought I would post them up here first for a while to see if I could reunite them with their original cars before putting them up for sale in a few weeks.[FONT=&quot]

There are a few more engines that we still have to dig out to get to the numbers including a 71 360 and another 340 or two. Will post those up soon as we can.

Hopefully you might hook someone up with their original motor!!! That '69 vin is a little lower than the one i'm looking for. I'll be watching for the other vins!

On the top one, either the build date 11 19 68 or the vin is wrong...also before you sell to someone that is looking for "any" 340, give the orig owner some time to see the ad.
Thanks
Steve

We thought the same thing about the 68 Casting. Very strange that a 68 casting would be going into a 1970 car. We double checked the numbers and that is what is on the block. The numbers are correct.

We are going to wait a while before selling them to give the original owners a chance to find them. The only way we would sell the 69 at all would be to the original owners as I am keeping that engine otherwise. The other two will go up for sale eventually.

Weird on the 68 block showing a 1970 vin. On the left front side of the block where the head mounts there's a pad with more numbers likely starting FW340Pxxxxxxxx what are those numbers?

Please post the other 340 #'s when avalible.
Looking for a late '72 or early '73 block.

Looking for 340 block for a 8/71 production date car
