Four Speed (Most Adaptable/Easiest Install/74 Dodge Dart

After taking my Dart out on the local expressway I realized I really need an overdrive or four speed in my ride. What would be the upgrade that would pose the least difficulty in terms of installation? A gear vendor OD? An overdrive from a 90's Dodge? An old school four speed stick? Which one in your opinions?

Simplest/cheapest would be the 833 O/D from something like an F-body. Just need to find a bellhousing with the 5.125" hole if the trans doesn't come with one.

Quite a few like res1vw21 says. If you already have an automatic, I would suggest a 518. If I remeber correctly, there are several members here who have 518's and there are a few threads on the installs. There's tons of info on this swap all over the web, shouldn't be hard to find.
