This looks plain. Should it be Red White and blue?

That GT has no backup lamps, different setup.

No Reverse Lamps, But they still should have the "guitar pick" GT callout in there.

Like on this one that has not seen a road or track since 1972...
The "plastic guitar pick" emblem fell out but was placed inside for the next owner to glue back in place in the 21st century!

Sorry I don't have better pictures, but that is a one owner yes, the same dude has had this car since 1964 - 60 years.

So reverse lights or not, the GT emblem is supposed to be in the fratzog.

Now here's my question... What determines the placement of the side GT emblems?

I have seen some on the "c" Pillar
Like my car and on Dad's car:

And some on the quarter panel - Like on a convertible I guess, but I think I have seen them on the 1/4 panel on hardtops too? Maybe a mid-year change so all the assembly line did not have to punch the C pillar on hardtops? Maybe we will never know.

It seems maybe the original poster has the GT emblem on the quarter panel.

Hope this is all helpful.

Got.no C pillars! And it has reverse lights. Anyone know if the guitar pick GT is available.

AFAIK, GT emblems C-pillar Coupes, Quarters Convertibles in '64...these are Mine, top from Coupe, bottom from the Convertible. The 'arrow' shaped recesses are light silver, black in the notches, & the Geetar Pick GT inlay...
