Duster Down Under
Hi All, just hoping I could get some advice on an issue I encountered on the weekend (and it's happened before) when racing..
Here's the situation. Went out drag racing last Sunday and it was extremely hot (around 35-38 degrees celsius) which is around 95-100 degrees faranheit and everytime I went out it would stall after I did burnout and then at top end it was burping and spluttering. I'm assuming it's a fuel issue.. It would stall when high in the revs and then I'd have to keep foot flat on throttle and crank it and would start after 10-15 seconds like it was flooded.
My fuel system is 3/8 stainless steel lines, Holley blue electric pump, to regulator (with return) to Quickfuel 750 D/P carb.
Anyone encountered something similar before and have an idea what it could be? How I should sort this out?
Thanks in advance for your assistance...
