Gas tank pad

What’s everyone using for the pad between tank and body?
was thinking maybe some foil covered packing insulation

I used a $6-ish yoga mat from WalMart.

I used used roofing tar paper.

If you use the wrong thing you could cause moisture to collect and rust stuff

I used the masticated rubber pad from Detroit Muscle Technologies.

Got mine from DMT.. i think the .080 thick one... fit perfect and was cheap

Thanks to all that replied.For all that have used the DMT products,are that all three made of material that won’t hold mosture?

Honestly, no idea. mines in the car already and i didn't think of that beforehand, sorry

The rubber pad wont hold moisture. The other two types would be fine too. I think they offer the tar paper version and a white closed cell foam version
