If you get a oil pan set, it usually comes with a little tube of RTV black to be applied in the corners at the junction of the rubber front rear and rear seals and the cork gasket.

I use no sealer on the cork. It'll just let the cork slip and slide between the pan and pan rail on the block and break. Make sure the pan rail and pan are dry as a bone and the cork will not leak. :)
