GOING TO BE A WET WEEK

-
Too far north for that, I suspect.

Rained like a bastard all day here today too. So dark, it was like the sun never came up. Bleh.

I don't think this will help California. They've forecast 6-10 inches of rain total for lowlands and several feet of snow for the mountain tops.

I lived in Seattle for a while and really liked it there.
Even on the few days it hit 90 with an off shore flow the air was dry and windy.
Cooled down at night quickly due to low humidity.
I'd be shopping in QFC and the check out would say "Hot isn't it"?
Me : "No not really".

Now, I understand the wet part.
And this may be a "constant" off and on situation.
But the weather moves so quickly that the moisture doesn't stay aloft long enough to get what I'd consider "heavy" drops.
I've often remarked when people there get 1 inch in 24 hours, they think it is a flood.
Point being, and you probably know, that 1 inch in 24 hours is not too uncommon in other areas.

" The record for Oct. 18, at Seattle-Tacoma International is 1.19 inches in 1958."
