Many, very many, nearly five decades ago, I promised never to lie to my wife. Then one day,
My wife asked me a question that had no good answer, so remembering my oath, I gave her a truthful answer. Which promptly had me sleeping on the couch.
Now I lie to her all the time, you know, to keep the peace.
I think she knows.......... lol
but she don't challenge me on it,lol.
