Needed those pesky washers that go onto the right angle oil filter adapter. None of the speed shop even knew "exactly" what I was asking for....just lots of talk.
My mechanic told me to go see Russ @ R/T (Russ Tech Auto) in Nashua. So I get there, talk for literally two minutes. Russ says "follow me". We go out the back door of his shop. He hops up into an old open Freuhauf trailer and disappears into the darkness, then reappears with a cork & phenolic washers on his index finger.
WOW. EXACTLY what I needed. I asked what I owed and he wouldn't take any money!! Nice.
He was working on a very nice 71 Challenger and Superbird. Great guy. If you need anything done, give him first right of refusal!
