I am thinking of putting a ralley dash in my 71 swinger.I have read a lot of threads on ralley dashes and sounds like more trouble than its worth. Is there that much trouble with the wiring. They talk about voltage regulater running fuel gauge and other gauges and having a lot of trouble with this problem. Is there something I can do to prevent these problems before installing the ralley dash.I have all the wiring, dash and cluster.Any help would be great before I make up my mind to change dashes.

I solved all the electrical problems in the rally dash years ago.
The physical fitment of the rally panel in a standard dash is where the problems are.
The openings in the sheet metal dash are different. If you decide to conquer that aspect in one way or another, go ahead and send the inst' panel to me. It will be plug and play ready for years of dependable service when returned.

Thanks Redfish for the comeback.I would like to send the dash to you but the way our dollar has been dropping it would cost me more than the dash is worth.lol
