.... but this is what my girlfriend wanted. a 1959 nash metropolitan. we went and looked at it today and are going to pick it up tomorrow. the guy wanted 3500, but we got it for 2500. it runs, but i am going to go throught all the brakes, and give it a tune up.

Well, Nash did become part of AMC, which was merged into the Mopar family back in the 80's, so I suppose we can let you get away with this lol.

Seriously, sweet car and a good price.

OH NO !!!!!!

...................another money pit. At least it is something that SHE wanted.

There is a body shop here in town that has a red and white one.
He drives it in town and in parades with his co. name on it.
Congrat's on a cool little ride slantscamp

Metros are way cool and they are absolutely wicked nasty with a Hemi in them. Nice find.

"The little Nash Rambler goes beep-beep!" one of my favorite songs. And I'm pretty sure that's your wagon in the Bullit scene. Cool car!

If you're going to modify it, do the front end first. I've come across two of these over the years where the front spindle broke. Bye, bye wheel.

My step sister had a Nash. She was in the middle of an intersection and the spindle broke and the wheel past her up. They are cool little cars but I would look into the front end and brakes before driving it much. Nice find. You got a smoking deal on it.

smallest car i have ever been in and i hit the side of the enclosed car trailer with the fender. ugh. there one more ding to fix.

here are a few pics from when we got it home. i had to get a few with the wagon so it didnt feel left out.
