Has anyone done a IRS swap in their A body and have any good ideas for same?

I am still intrigued by the idea of IRS rear suspension. Has anyone got information on this? Some of my ideas include Ford 8.8 IRS from explorer or mercury. IRS from an after market sorce ( read expensive ) or possibably IRS from a wrecked corvette or even a dodge charger or newer hemi car. Any information or ideas are welcome! You can even say I'm crazy...... just thinking out loud here. :coffee2:
