Hazard lights going crazy & more!

I need your help. I’m Getting the steering column reinstalled in the Duster. I got a new switch harness & ignition switch. put everything in, plugged in the harnesses And the flasher unit starts clicking without the ignition on. The rear hazard flashes even when the hazard button isn’t activated. I pull out the hazard switch then it flashes the front hazards? Turn signals work but are reversed when actuated? Any ideas? Did I get a bad/wrong harness? I’m so close to getting it on the road…

Sounds like the switch is bad or wired incorrectly.
Went through something similar.

I have heard of some aftermarket switches are not wired correctly, and even the color of the wires is wrong.

If you have your old switch I would compare wire for wire.
