Hey im looking to install a set of headers on my 06 300 srt8 soon. was wondering if anyone on here did headers on an LX car before and if there were any good tips or info.
so far ive seen to remove the starter, alternator, washer resevoir, and undo each motor mount one at a time to lift the engine during install.
headers are longtubes, $250 dollar knockoffs, looks just like slp headers, but 1200 dollars cheaper. having a car payment and insurance on the srt makes cost a bit of an issue. But i still wanted to do some modding over the winter.and I aslo had to do some cleaning up on the header flange ports, lots of weld splatter. probably a good example of you get what you pay for
