POS Dakota
Anti-Socialist
Hello all...
I plan on purchasing a pre-70 barracuda sometime this year. I am not settled yet on what year in specific. I love them all, and I'll know when I see it. I've lurked here for a while because the information I've gotten here is great, and I love to see what others are doing with their cars.
I own an 08 SRT8 300 sedan, an 08 caliber SRT4, and the Dakota behind the name is a 2000 club cab "R/T" which has been my plaything all these years.
Sometimes I love it, other times I want to pour a can of bp110 leaded on it and burn it.
Before I take on an A-Body project though, I am in the final stages of parts collection for the latest combo in my truck.
In short it's a k-1 426 rotating assembly, a mag roller block, and RHS/Indy 2.02 heads. I am not taking less than 500 hp and 500 ft/lbs for an answer on that.
I am still deciding on things like whether it will remain efi or be carbed. A lot of you guys have presented good arguments for using a carb. I am sick of electronics in general.
Anyway, just thought I would announce myself. I hope to learn as much as I can here.
Thanks.
