Today while running errands a guy at the stop light tells my my brake lights are out. So I turn and head to the local parts store, I buy two new lights. So I put them in noticing that the top ones look burnt out. Have the wife push the brakes nothing, lights and turn signals still work. WTF?? I checked the fuses all good. What next?? Any help would be great. Am i missing a switch somewhere? The brake light on the dash has been on for months (hope I haven't been driving w/o brake lights for that long.)

Mods can you please move this to General discussion I put it in the wrong one.

BRake Light Switch. Go to the brake pedal, now follow that up the pedal until you see the switch. Remove old switch and buy new switch. If you dont know how to install new switch pay a mechanic as it's a one time deal. You mess it up, you buy new switch.
