Hey Transmission Gurus,

I need a little help identifying a Transmission. I think the trans is a 727 TorqueFlite from 1967/68.

The number number stamped into the rail just above the pan on the driver’s side is,

H2301543 3257077

Any help decoding this would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post a pic of the numbers, I can't find any of those on the list...

Upon closer look, it appears to be H2801543 3257077

Interesting, this is paired with a 4BC 440.

Also do you know what the H is for, is that the manufacturer plant location, if so what location is "H"?
