Help on 340 combo

The longer front spring hangers are not required on A body cars using SS springs. B/E cars yes. A's no.

That rear hanger angle Tom mentions is CRITICAL to making the spring work properly. Where it goes through the spring eye needs to be behind the upper mount location. If you are using SS springs, the mopar suspension book is handy.

There's a TON of time in the front end. Rise and friction reduction is real important there.

You need to buzz that engine, it's just getting to the meat of the powerband at 6K.

well i just got a killer deal on a set of mopar springs cal track set up shocks and shock extenders for $300 of a recked race car a frind of mine is parting out cant pass that deal up, 1 step at a time starting out back, up front i have 3ways set at 90-10 car with me in it is just over 3000 pounds grate advice all also thinking about lossing the victor 340 mybe for a rpm airgap??? but after the rear set up is tweeked.

get your rear suspension fixed ...cal tracs are very good..

run the car with new suspension and get it sorted out...

then see what you need to do...i would up the converter rpm....

then you probably dont need to change intakes...
