I am looking into buying a different motor for my 65 barracuda. All of you experienced Mopar Mechanics please give me an idea of the value of the following motor:

1971 340 Block
Ø Bored. 030 Over

Ø Keith Black-Hypereutectic Pistons

Ø Steel Crank

Ø Block Decked Appx. .015
Zero Piston Depth/Height

Ø Chromoly Rings

Ø Rotating Assembly Balanced

Ø 360 “J” Heads / 1.88 Intake Valves

Ø Purple Cam Shaft
.484 Lift/.284 Duration

$2500-$3500

I know that is a wide spread but it's tough selling anything right now.
Just tell the potential buyer how much a replacement 340 block is by itself...that'll help.

WIld & Crazy is pretty spot on..... depending on the day, the market, what happens at Mecums & BJ's...... the price can shoot up or drop like a rock.....in this market its almost an "hourly" fluctuation.... you should be safe with those numbers if you can live with either of them

With this 340 setup- what would the HP and Torque numbers probably be at?
What would I need to do to turn this into a 416 stroker- how much would it cost?
My ultimate goal is to build a hot little barracuda that runs legit low 12's and is just a bad *** street fighter....
Any recommendations?

I wouldn't give a dollar for it because I don't need it. Decide how badly you want it and go from there. Keep in mind you can do the same and more with a 360 without the 340 price tag.
