I have seen those and was unsure if they are correct because a) they are black and the originals are clear B) i do not see any holes on the new ones, the originals have several holes on both ends. Is this how the replacements come now?

Your old ones have lost all the velvet that acts as a lubricant.
You have to notch,trim to length and punch the holes that's the way they come from mopar
