HELP!!! What is this peice that was in the pan of a Mopar tranny???

This was found stuck to the magnet in a 46RH transmission out of a 1994 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD pick up. I have looked for diagrams and can't find this piece. Any help and pictures would be deeply appreciated.

actually called the anchor.....for the front band..
