If its an after market very simple just sit in ya seat and place it were it feels right,I could be wrong but there may be some dimples on the hump to show were factory shifter would of went.I know there is a round maRKING ON THE SIDE WERE THE SHIFTER LINKAGE WOULD GO THROUGH.dam cap locks sorry,:-k
