How Long is the track? What are your records? Have any video? I'd like to see that..

I was just giving you a hard time. Never seen a street car at the sand drags. Just buggys jeeps and quads.

They race to 300 foot.

Once a year out in Glamis they have 4 stroke wars at Olds hill.

I've never been there for it, but I would like to go watch some time. Here's a couple pic's of some of the tires. I've been watching the vid's for a couple years now.

That tire is screwed. LOL Some one spent a lot of time on that. Looks like it would do the trick though.

Yes we spend lots of time on our tires. I have a set of 295/50's and it took about 5000 screws per tire. About 43 hours to put them all in...

I'll be down to watch you Jesse. But I can't get myself to take the Duster
out in the winter. I'll just do it this way. Brian

Did you come last year Brian? Kruegers from up by you have one of the records with their Green Jeep. I believe they own a logging company????

Sister's Boyfriend is living in WI. How Close to Fort Mcoy are you? Would love to check this out if/When I am in the area.

I wasn't able to get there last year. I will get there this year. Yeah, Kreagers
have a saw mill on the south side of town. I see the kid is still running his
dad's old 69 Camaro. Can you belive that is an orignal big block car? It still
has the orignal sheetmetal from what I understand. Not much on Chevys, but
this car is way to rare to do this. Worth alot of money restored. But what do
you expect of chevy guys.
Lakeeffect, Fort McCoy is at the other end of the state. About a 2 1/2 to 3 hour trip.
One question for ya Jesse. When well they start using the timing equipment
in the summer somewhere? They could do it at a paved airport in the area.
Could be fun and less costly that going to Rock Falls or Kaukauna.

As Brian said the drags are about 150 miles from Fort McCoy, but well worth the drive!!! From Fort McCOy it would be an easy drive, Hwy 21 east to 39/51 north....

Brian, we have talked about something in the summer, but we can't find a venue that would let us use their roads. Also insurance would be tough, as there aren't any guard rails on an airport runway. But we have thought about it many times, and it sure would be nice to have a track close to the central WI area..
