hood hinge clips

I got mine from Lowe's. They actually came with a plastic cap on it. I just removed the cap and viola, just like factory hinge clips. If memory serves me right, they were around .60 each.
 
Do you have a pic of the plastic cap? I need a few of these too & have a lowe's near by. What dept did you get them in?
 
No picture, they were in the hardware section. They look like the caps on a child's radio flier wagon wheels. The ones I got are white. Just look at all of the hardware bins and you will see the clips.
 
I had a feeling thats what the cap looked like. I'll take a look & post a pic if I find em.
 
I got mine at Carquest auto parts, walked in with a sample and he pulled out a box with several different sizes, just matched them up and was out the door in 5 minutes.

Dont remember exact cost, but they were cheap and worked perfect.
 
I got mine from a local hardware store. The old ones were split and non-functional. I believe they were 1/2" but I might be wrong.
