I have a 70 duster with an aar fiberglass hood .Any one have the same set up on duster. What are you using for a hood prop

When I put the hinged six pack hood on my RR, I just measured what length I needed then went to the wrecking yard and searched until I found the right length hood prop. Cheap and easy!

i was using a prop rod, that always seem to get in the way, when working under the hood
Time for something different,
(not for everyone, but works for me) and the wind won't make the hood fall
I drilled a hole in the hinge, welded in a tube with a 3/8" i.d.
also drilled a hole into the fender, (It's just a race car)
found some un-used bb valves> cut to length
works great

drilled a hole in the cowl, to store the valve, when not in use.
when the hood is closed, it secures the valve in place.
