Hello everybody. Anybody have any advice on what to use for headers when installing a 472 Hemi in a 1968 Dart. I'm using a converted factory K member and a Automatic trans.

I would love to see some pictures if anybody has any.

Thanks!!

Use the Headmans as they offer more ground clearance and are a bit less expensive.

Plan on some modifications from either manufacturer.

I has issues with 2 tubes - the #2 tube had no clearance for a dipstick tube, and #6 was tight to the t-bar.

I just cut them and modified instead of hammering them to death.

Headman offers 3 primary tube models , I used the 2 1/4 version.

I agree with ssaahemifan.... this is an auto so there was no T bar problem. Hedman's were used on this car and modified...drastically. Also had to
re-design the dipstick tube. Here a few pics, hope it helps.

Looks like the tube for cylinder #3 is poured in there! Damn, that's tight....

But to have a Hemi in my A body.....
=P~

Does anyone know if either of these headers will work with the Indy 426-1R heads?
TTI has an offering, but it only works with a "tubular k-member, coil front suspension".
