Horn Tech Question

70 Dart Horn works with key off turn key on and horn doesn't work?? Strange? follow wire to bulkhead on fire wall all looks good?

No idea. Here's what I'd try. Unplug the relay. Hook a test lamp to the black wire at the connector. Hook the other end of the test lamp to a "hot" battery source.

The lamp should light when you work the horn button, either key on or off.

Might be the column is not grounded, but that's only a wild guess

Any wiring mods you know of?

Any harness "meltage" from other damage / shorts you know of?

Is the wiring factory?

Thanks for some guidance Yes the wiring under hood is new from evans wiring.the horn relay is on the driver kick panel i'am thinking. will try that and maybe run a ground jumper to column.all other wiring is original except for new under hood harness.just got done completely restoring car. so trying to work bugs out. thanks again
