I just finished installing the original A/C system back on my 69 Dart. It has the original style RV2 compressor and new dryer and the system is empty. How much oil do I heed to ad? The comp is flushed and empty.

Yup that is the amount of freon it takes. But I'm looking for the amount of compressor oil I need to put in it. Thanks for the reply.

I'm looking at the factory service manual for my 73 Dart Sport and it
states "the compressor contains 10 to 11 ounces of a special wax-free
refrigerant oil". I can't say it's exactly the same but it should be close.

Thanks for the info, I just put all the AC parts on my 69 Dart. And I need to ad the Ester oil to the comp. before I vaccum it down and charge it with R-134A.
