How many quarts of trans fluid do I need to pick up for my 904 ? Its got a deep pan on it.
How much trans fluid ?

Its pretty much empty. I drained as much as I could from the converter. Plus an extra 2 quarts for the pan. The converter is only an 8" though so it wont hold as much as a stock 11"
I know they hold a good amount, Just not sure how much.

I'd buy a case just to be on the safe side then you'll have a few spare quarts.

I'd start with about 2 gallons (8 quarts). The nice thing about your pan is that you can drain it a little if it's over.

Chris, the bad thing about it is its chrome. Should hold the heat in nice.

I'd say about 8 quarts but I'd only pour in 6 to start with before you fire it up, in neutral of course.
