Was digging around my Mom's attic above the garage and found an AVS carb that was on a 70 340 dart I had back in the day.Don't know if it was original to the car as I was the 3rd or 4th owner.Any way to date it? and what would it be worth cause I'm thinking of selling it.I know it needs rebuilt cause it's been sitting for 25 yrs.

The Carburetor number and date should be stamped in to the right front mounting ear of carburetor. Tell us what is there and we'll tell you what it is.

Maybe start with buying it some flowers. A bottle of carburetor cleaner and a couple of glasses?

It may also have an aluminum tag attached to the top plate screws.

Should be a 4933, 4934, 4935, 4936, 4937

I'd be interested if it's a 4936
