How to swap 8 1/4 for a 8 3/4

I have a 8 1/4 in my duster now. Its a v8 car too. 8 3/4 with 4.30 suregrip I found is from a duster as well. So will it bolt up to everything and do I need to cut the drive shaft. Thanks - Jesse
 
The 8 1/4 will be large bolt pattern and the 8 3/4 will be small bolt pattern,unless axels on the 8 3/4 have been swapped already.Something to check before jumping in.
 
IIRC the difference between those two is very minor.
However, in your case, going from the slightly shorter nose, maybe you will have a hair of interference. Perfect time to move the rear axle assy back, for big tire clearance.
