Hughes converter any good?

Who here runs a Hughes comverter? How well do they hold up. I just have a 275 hp 318 with 373 gears.

You can also check Precision. They are the largest converter re-manufacturer in the world. They know their stuff and build converters for many private labels. Many of the converters sold by Summit or Jegs are probably Precision's regardless of brand. Precision of New Hampton | Torque Converters, Transmission

Never ran a Hughes I have a Ultimate Converter very happy with it going on 7 years now couple of different engines..know lots of guys/gals running them..

Hughes 2500 stall behind my 383, does just fine for me

I've had 2.one off the shelf, the other a custom job. I'm happy with them..
If you call Hughes make sure you tell them everything about your 318 and your set up.

Had a couple of Hughes converters. All that I've had work well.

I've used 2 and they both worked great and held up real well. One was in a 1 ton Chevy truck a buddy of mine used to pull scrap trailers with and he loaded them to the max. Never a minutes problem with it

I had one behind my 354, 450 HP did fine {Hughes 24-20 2000 stall} but struggles behind my 471. I'm looking to upgrade will be pulling it . It has about 300 miles on it.
