I need a socket

Where can you buy the correct socket to adjust the front and rear bands on 727.

I believe it's square but I don't know what size. May be someone will chime in.

The boys on previous posts say a 5/16" square or 8 point socket. Napa has them #NB810

NAPA, Sears. As mentioned their 8 point sockets and sometimes you can get lucky and find a 12 point that'll grab enough to work good

I have never used a socket. I always use a 5/16" wrench and just tighten it up. 8 LB FT just means tightening it until all the slop is out of the band. That's pretty easy to feel and then back off 2 turns.
