Info on '60s dealership Ridgewood auto sales "the home of Texas Dave" Queens NY

Hi NE FABO family! I was hoping someone could help a guy out from the wrong coast side. I purchased a '68 Barracuda that has a dealer tag from Queens. Curious if any of you knew of this place, history, still around, seen these dealer tags before, where they a Mopar specific dealer, etc... any information would be greatly appreciated!

Hi i left queens N Y back in 1980 There was a dodge dealer there and i use to buy parts there but i don't think it was call ridge wood dodge.but could be wrong
I think the plate you have came from a car lot that was about 1/8 mile down the road . let me do a little checking. It was on Metropolitan Ave , Ridgewood, NY 11385 now it is called elite auto mall it looks like. Thats the best I can do its been a long time ago.

Just remembered it was call S & W DODGE GO TO FLICKER AND THERE WILL BE PICTURES OF IT .

I was able to do some digging in Ridgewood Times archived newspapers.. looks like Ridgewood auto sales was at 61-65 Metropolitan. I'm guessing it was a smaller dealership, found some S&W ads as well!
