installing brake push rod 72 Duster

on which side of the pedal assembly does the brake push rod get attached ? I have a new adjustable rod with heim joint , does the joint mount on the right side of pedal braket if your looking at it from inside under dash or does it mount on left side in between the clutch bracket and brake pedal bracket ????

If your viewing it from sitting behind the steering wheel,
it would go to the right side, or on the accelerator pedal side.
