Check this out:
Fitting on the left came with my dual feed fuel inlet setup (trying to make my car track legal by getting rid of rubber lines.)
Of course, as you can see by the correctly made fitting on the right, they didn't finish threading it all the way, so of course it won't go far enough into the bowl to seal properly. Of course this kept me from hitting the track today as well.
In my youth, I would have just kept tightening when it stopped turning instead of looking at it, and probably gacked up the bowl on the carburetor in the process.
If you're going to charge $50 for 2.00 worth of aluminum and braided stainless and put "PROUDLY MADE IN USA" all over it, then do it right for chrissakes.
I'm calling them monday. It'll be interesting to hear what they have to say.
Any guesses?
I'm going with "Its your problem".
One I obtained the non-jacked fitting I did get it installed though. Maybe I can race tomorrow...
